Each year the American Customer Satisfaction Index studies nearly every industry, including automotive. This year the study has concluded that overall satisfaction amongst automotive brands is up 3.8-percent to 82 on a scale of 100. Breaking down the results further show that the Lincoln brand is number one in satisfaction, while Acura ranks last.

Despite premium brands bookending the study, the results show that satisfaction improvements were widespread. Brands from all sectors rose year-over-year. For example, the Honda brand was the number-two ranked automotive brand behind Lincoln.
