Standout Even More With The 2018 Ram 1500 Hydro Blue Sport Edition

Ram has offered a steady stream of special edition trucks, with the latest being yet another standout opportunity for buyers. Dubbed the Hydro Blue Sport Edition, this Ram isn’t a blacked out “midnight” edition; rather it’s a bright, bold, in-your-face option.

Pulling cues from French racing colors, the Hydro Blue hue on the exterior is visually yelling at us all. It’s bright and Ram is dipping nearly every trim piece in it, down to portions of the grille insert. The anti-chrome motif continues with black 20 or 22-inch wheels (chrome ones are also offered), while black graphics and blacked-out lights finish off the sporty appearance.

Impressively, Ram has gone a little more in-depth with this special edition package than some. Even the interior is offered with blue accent trim pieces on the doors, dash and center console.

Ram is offering the Hydro Blue Sport Edition on Ram Sport 1500 Crew Cab, meaning the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 is the sole engine option with it. Only 2,000 copies of this truck will be produced, so if you’re interested you may want to head over to your nearest Ram dealers soon. Once you’re at the dealership you’ll be asked to fork over at least $47,455 to get it.

That's a beautiful shade of blue.

I am digging that shade of blue but the overall package is kind of weird looking.
I actually kinda like it... the black wheels really set it off, IMO. It's a little "loud" for me personally, but I still appreciate the aesthetic.

Now... which option box do I check for the Hellcat motor??
