Upcoming Jeep Scrambler Pickup Will Offer Soft-Top Option

By now it is no secret that Jeep is planning a new pickup truck based on the new JL Wrangler. Tacking on the Scrambler nameplate from Jeep’s past, this pickup will apparently share quite a lot with the Wrangler SUV, including an optional soft-top option.

Citing sources familiar with the Scrambler design, Automotive News is reporting the Scrambler’s soft-top option will be foldable or removable, just like the current and next-generation Wrangler. Effectively, this option is creating a true convertible pickup from the Jeep brand.

The 2019 Jeep Scrambler is slated to go into production in November 2018. It will be produced on the assembly line that currently produces today’s Wrangler in Toledo, Ohio.

I kind of like this idea. Didn't they have the last one with a removable hard top?

I don't remember a factory option like this maybe the International Scout did?
