Photos have been uncovered online that may shed light on a face-lifted 2019 Jeep Renegade. The photos show a revised front fascia and revamped center stack inside; both improvements that bring the little crossover more in line with other recent Jeep products.
The photos were uncovered on RenegadeJeeps Instagram account. The authenticity and ultimate source of the photos is unknown, but they are realistic in appearance. A sole exterior shot shows a revised face on the Renegade, including new headlamps that feature a square bezel similar to that of the all-new Wrangler. The grille treatment also appears to have a more angular appearance than today’s Renegade model.
An interior photo shows a blurry photo of the center stack, which is housing FCA’s 8.4-inch UConnect touchscreen display, something not currently offered in the Renegade. Resting below the larger display is a revised set of climate control buttons. FCA has been propagating its lineup with its 8.4-inch display in recent months, so this is a predictable addition to the Renegade lineup.
Of course, there’s no official word from Jeep yet on what the 2019 Renegade will look like. Just this week the company took the wraps off its 2019 Cherokee, also refreshed for 2019. Although the changes to the Renegade appear more minimalistic than the Cherokee, they will likely be welcomed additions in terms of keeping the Jeep family appearance up to date on Jeep’s smallest crossover.
New driver assist and climate controls and also the most important the 8.4” unconnect interface radio! We have been waiting for this! Will the 8.4” screens be in the 2018? We hope so!
