Limited Edition Dodge Challenger Celebrates Mopar's 80th Anniversary

Fiat-Chrysler’s Mopar brand is turning 80 this year. As part of the celebration FCA has developed a limited edition Dodge Challenger to commemorate the milestone. And limited it will be, with only 160 units slated for production.

Using the 392 Shaker package as a basis, the Challenger is gaining several unique bits with this edition. Under the hood the 6.4-liter HEMI features a Moper cold air intake, as well as Mopar strut tower braces. The 485 horsepower beast will only be offered with the car’s six-speed manual gearbox.

The more obvious changes are seen from the street, though. Buyers will be able to select between Billet Silver and Contusion Blue, you know, Mopar colors. Regardless of the color selected, the hood, pillars, roof and decklid will all be painted in Pitch Black. Mopar badges complete the look inside and out.

The 160 Challenger’s built in Mopar guise will start at $56,885.

I like that two tone blue and black scheme. Dodge has always had some nice colors for their vehicles IMO.
