Startup ELEXTRA Teases Electric Supercar Ahead of Geneva Motor Show

Once again another startup claims to be redefining the supercar and underpinning it with the industry’s preeminent electric vehicle platform.

ELEXTRA Cars has provided a preview of its first offering by releasing a series of teaser images in advance of the Geneva Motor Show.

Backed by Danish entrepreneur Poul Sohl and designed by Robert Palm, the ELEXTRA is a four door four seater that offers four-wheel-drive and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in less than 2.3 seconds.

The company indicates that the car will be hand assembled in Stuttgart, Germany with the initial production run limited to 100 units.

Additional details, including pricing and availability will be released in the coming months.
