Citing a report from Auto Forecast Solutions, Autoline says that production of the Alfa Romeo 4C will end in 2020 as a result of disappointing sales.

First unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the two-seater, rear-wheel drive coupé entered production in May 2013 at Maserati’s plant in Modena, Italy. The North American version of the 4C followed, making its debut at the 2014 New York International Auto Show.

To date, Alfa Romeo has sold 309 4Cs in the U.S. this year, down from 320 units in 2015.

An Alfa Romeo spokesman has declined to comment on the status of the 4C, indicating that that no official changes in production plans have been announced.
