New BMW M5 Price Carries Six-Figure Price

Today BMW announced pricing for its all-new M5 super-sedan. The new M5 will sport a six-figure price tag when it goes on sale this spring.

Based on the all-new 2018 5 Series, the new M5 is the most powerful M5 ever offered. The car features a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 engine with 600 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. This is enough power to send the car to 60 mph in a staggering 3.2 seconds.

The new M5 is also the first M model to feature BMW M xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The system will allow drivers to switch between rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive with various modes tuned specifically by BMW M engineering.

Of course, all of this power and technology comes at a price. BMW says the 2018 M5 will start at $103,595. This figure includes a $995 destination charge.
